Infcurion Launches Latest Version of Next-Generation Card Platform "Xard"

New features include member management, credit limit control, and credit approval. A sandbox environment is available in as little as two weeks.

Infcurion, Inc.

Tokyo, Japan, October 8, 2025 - Infcurion, a leading Japanese payment enabler, is proud to announce the launch of the latest version of its next-generation card platform, 'Xard'.

This latest version integrates "member management," "management of funding sources and credit limits," and "credit management," which required significant development resources, in addition to the existing standard features. This enables client companies to launch their own branded credit, prepaid, debit, or other card businesses (hereinafter "custom-branded cards") with minimal development effort.

Background and Overview of the Latest "Xard" Version
Japan’s B2B payments market is estimated at approximately ¥1,160 trillion (approx. USD 7.7 trillion), highlighting its vast scale and potential. With the introduction of the invoice system, revisions to the Electronic Book Preservation Act, and the planned complete abolishment of paper-based bills and checks by 2026, cashless B2B payments are expected to expand further.

Despite the market’s size, corporate credit cards currently represent only around 0.7% of all B2B payments—underscoring a significant opportunity for growth. They are gaining attention as a means for companies to improve cash flow and operational efficiency. Furthermore, in the business-to-consumer (B2C) payments market, the style of completing payments using only a smartphone without a physical card is becoming established, mainly among those in their 20s and 30s.

In response to this situation, Infcurion launched "Xard" in April 2022. By providing "card issuing" and "transaction management" functions via API, we have supported companies of all types—including Fintech firms, financial institutions, retailers, and web service providers—in launching their own card and corporate payment services.

With this latest version, a sandbox environment can be provided in as little as two weeks. Furthermore, by offering modular features that clients can implement as needed, a wide range of businesses, such as SaaS providers, e-commerce platforms, and B2B payment companies, can deploy financial services under their own brand.

Newly Added Features and Expected Benefits
Expected Benefits
By providing these new functions, "Xard" reduces initial development costs, allowing client companies to concentrate on developing their core services and competitive advantages. It also supports diverse financial business models and use cases, including subscriptions, payroll cards, and B2B payments.

Future Developments
"Xard" plans to add more features to enhance the operational efficiency and security of card businesses, such as card-level spending limits and merchant controls. Upcoming features include account transfers via PSP connections, direct balance debit/credit APIs, revolving payments, and cash advance functions—all aimed at expanding the scope of financial services available through "Xard."

About "Xard"
"Xard" is an international brand card issuing platform that allows companies to easily and cost-effectively issue their own original JCB/Visa cards (virtual/physical) via API integration. It provides the necessary functions for card issuing in a flexible, modular format, meeting the business needs of all types of companies, including Fintech firms, financial institutions, retailers, and web service providers. By incorporating Xard's various API functions into their own services, companies can create new customer experiences.
